A Fine Arts graduate from Chennai, Mrs. Rama Arvind, has chosen a career in the Visual Art Traditions of India and Abroad and started Kriti in the year 1998. Hailing from a family of Artists, she has the thirst and urge for creativity and innovative techniques to imbibe into the already existing traditional art forms. She has an everlasting interest to share and teach everyone all her novel ideas in all areas of arts and crafts.

She has also taken up specialized studies in Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai, on Kalamkari paintings. She has enriched her artistic talents in Warli, Bastar, Patachitra, Patta, Madhubani, Rajasthani, Manipuri pottery etc., under the National Folklore Support Centre as a freelance facilitator. She has also done her Diploma in Digital Designing - Multimedia and has worked as Head - Digital Designing in a Multimedia firm and has trained more than 50 students in that line.

She has expertised in her own style, the techniques of Indian and Foreign Hand Embroideries. She has a self developed knowledge of artistic paintings using different materials and mediums.

"Best from Waste" being her motto, she has bagged several prizes in her student days. Kriti Arts and Crafts itself stands out as a testimony to her creativity. Till date she has trained more than 200 students.
